Gamify Your Experience: How To Make Networking Fun!

Anything new that you start to do may seem tricky or complicated at first. This system is NOT complicated at all. Still though, I wanted to provide you with an option that will make this experience a lot of fun. You can gamify this process. What does gamify mean?

Basically, it’s making a game out of this process so it is easier and more enjoyable.

How Can We Gamify Network Building?

It’s easy. Make a list for the week that has the following things on it:

• Talk to 10 people in public and get their Instagram – 0/10
• DM 50 Relevant Contacts  – 0/50
• How many responded back – 0/50
• Comment on 100 Pictures – 0/100

Every time you do any of the tasks you add a point to it. The more you do it, the better you feel about accomplishing your goal and the more you want to do it. If you reach five out of the 10 people in public, you’ll want to get the other five.

It’s easy to send 50 DMs, you can do that in five minutes. So, as you do it more and more, you will want to make sure you complete it to get to the number you desire. Then at the end of the week reward yourself if you hit your goals.

I try to gamify everything I do. It’s challenging myself and making a goal to complete.
